Tao Dai is a battery scientist and founder of Altau. A researcher in materials for energy storage, he has spent years developing the inorganic solid-state electrolyte chemistry that Altau's cells are built on. Today he leads the company's technology, from electrolyte to full cell, along with operations and fundraising.

Ju Li

Ju Li

Founder & Chief Scientist

Ju Li is a professor of Nuclear Science and Engineering and of Materials Science and Engineering at MIT, and a founder of Altau. For three decades his research group has worked at the frontier of energy storage and materials. As chief scientist, he guides the company's science, from cell design to the fundamentals of its solid-state materials.
